In light of the new rules regarding face masks we would like to make patients aware that the Government Guidance suggests there is no requirement for patients to provide evidence of exemption. It should be sufficient for patients to declare that they are eligible for exemption directly with the person questioning them e.g. bus driver/shop assistant.
As per the BMA guidance we will therefore not be providing letters of support for those who fall under the list of exemptions, or to those who do not fall under the list of exemptions.
