The way phlebotomy (blood tests) are managed in Gloucestershire is changing. From Wednesday, July 1, if your GP surgery requests any blood tests then you should contact the surgery to organise an appointment.
Any blood tests requested by a secondary care consultant or specialist should be organised at the hospital, either by the department concerned, or by attending one of the phlebotomy clinics there.
At Sixways we are pleased to be welcoming a new phlebotomist to our team, Sarah, and she will be doing clinics on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
